“The third round of Russian-American talks to resolve unresolved issues in relations between the two countries will take place by the end of autumn.”
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov to TASS.
"There are no dates yet for the third round. Everything is being discussed," the diplomat said.
It should be recalled that on February 27 and April 10 this year, talks were held in Istanbul to regulate the working conditions of the Russian and US embassies, as well as to discuss ways to resolve contentious issues in relations between the two countries.
In the first two rounds, the Russian delegation was led by Russia's Ambassador to Washington, Alexander Darchiev, and the American side by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Sonata Kalter.
The first meeting, held behind closed doors for the press, lasted more than six hours, and the second meeting lasted approximately five and a half hours.
