Elections to local self-government bodies are being held in Georgia.
Modern.az reports, citing the Georgian press, that the voting process will conclude at 20:00 in the evening.
Citizens will elect members of municipal councils in 64 districts, as well as the mayors of 64 cities.
Nine candidates are competing for the position of mayor of the capital Tbilisi. Among them is the current mayor Kakha Kaladze from the ruling Georgian Dream Party.
In total, more than 3.5 million voters have the right to vote.
