In Georgia, a large quantity of firearms, military ammunition, and explosive devices with detonators have been discovered.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Georgia's State Security Service (SSS).
It was noted that a Georgian citizen named B.Ch. acquired the weapons, ammunition, and explosive devices at the instruction of a Georgian representative of one of the military units located in Ukraine.
"The aforementioned weapons and ammunition were planned to be used in Tbilisi on October 4 during the commission of violent subversive acts and in attempts to attack the Presidential Palace. A group of individuals who were supposed to deliver the weapons and ammunition to Tbilisi has been neutralized. The firearms, military ammunition, and explosive devices discovered in a secret cache were hidden in a forest near Tbilisi. Furthermore, based on the instructions of the person named B.Ch., the person who prepared the detonator remote control has also been identified. That person has already been brought to the State Security Service and investigative measures are being carried out concerning them", - the SSS statement said.
