Hurricane "Emi" in France - 2 people died

In France, two people have died as a result of Hurricane "Emi".

 

Modern.az reports that the "France Press" agency has disseminated information regarding this, citing the rescue service.

 

According to the information, one of the victims was a 48-year-old man, whose p was found on the coast of Etretat (Sena-Dəniz department in northwestern France). The second incident was recorded in the Ain department (northern France).

 

The country's national meteorological service has announced an orange (second lowest) weather warning in six departments due to the storm. In some areas, wind speeds reach 36.4 m/s.

 

According to the "Enedis" energy company, approximately 5000 homes in Normandy (northwestern France) are without electricity.

 

Hurricane "Emi" is the remnant cyclone of Hurricane "Humberto", which formed over the South Atlantic Ocean at the end of September.
