On the night of October 6, unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a large oil terminal located in the city of Feodosia, Crimea, annexed by Russia.
According to Modern.az, the target was the Feodosia oil terminal, one of the largest fuel depots in Crimea.
As a result of the attack, large fuel tanks caught fire, leading to powerful explosions. According to local residents, the fire was visible from tens of kilometers away. Videos shared on social media show flames rising from the terminal area.
According to information, the drones mainly hit large tanks storing fuel and lubricants. Although the Russian side has not issued an official statement, local Telegram channels and video materials confirmed that the fire continued throughout the night in Feodosia.
Eyewitnesses reported that several waves of explosions were recorded in the terminal area. It is noted that as a result of previous attacks, only 22 out of 34 tanks at the base remained intact, and this time the strike was specifically aimed at those sections.
According to experts, the complete extinguishing of the fire does not seem possible in the near future, as the terminal's infrastructure has suffered serious damage.
The Feodosia oil terminal has already become a target for Ukraine several times. Through this facility, Russia supplied fuel to its military units in Crimea and on the southern front.
