The Pope makes his first foreign trip - to Turkey

Pope Leo XIV will visit Turkey and Lebanon at the end of November.

Modern.az reports that Reuters has released information regarding this, citing the Vatican.

This will be the first visit outside Italy for the new leader of the Catholic Church, which has 1.4 billion members.

Pope Leo will be in Turkey from November 27 to 30, and then in Lebanon from November 30 to December 2.

During the visit, he is expected to address the problems of Christians in the Middle East and call for peace throughout the region.
