The Russian Armed Forces have captured 212 settlements in Ukraine since the beginning of the year.
Modern.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at a meeting held with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.
“This year, we have liberated almost 5 thousand sq. km – 4900 sq. km of territory and 212 settlements,” he said.
