The President's draft decision, which envisages the participation of Turkish soldiers in the “Gaza power units,” will be submitted to the Turkish parliament after expert evaluations are completed.
Modern.az reports that “TRT Haber” disseminated information on this matter.
Abdulla Güler, the head of the Justice and Development Party faction, stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, and the National Intelligence Organization are already working on the details of the issue.
He noted that the framework and conditions will first be prepared – for example, the duration of the resolution, the specifics of its powers, and the characteristics of the situation in Gaza.
Güler added that other resolutions expiring this month (related to Syria-Iraq, Lebanon, Central Africa, and Mali) will also be submitted to parliament. After all departments complete their analyses, the document will be sent to the parliamentary leadership.
Furthermore, Güler emphasized that Turkey “stands with the Palestinian people” and that all necessary initiatives required in this direction will be brought to parliament.
