The US government has also invited Azerbaijan to the leaders' summit on Gaza, which will be held next week in Egypt.
According to Modern.az, along with Azerbaijan, Spain, Japan, Armenia, Hungary, India, Cyprus, Greece, Bahrain, Kuwait, Canada, and Iran have also been included in the expanded list of participants formed at Washington's initiative.
The summit will be held on October 13 in Sharm El Sheikh. More than 20 country leaders are expected to participate in the event.
At the meeting, ensuring the sustainability of the ceasefire achieved between Israel and Hamas, as well as the next steps towards alleviating the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip will be discussed.
