Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan commented on the preparations for the “Trump Road” (TRIPP).
Modern.az reports that at a joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson Elina Valtonen in Yerevan, the minister recalled that TRIPP is the section of the railway that will pass through southern Armenia.
The minister stated that yesterday in Sharm El Sheikh, he had the opportunity to discuss all possible solutions for the normalization of relations with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, including the unblocking of infrastructure.
Mirzoyan reiterated that the unblocking will be carried out based on a number of principles: territorial integrity, inviolability of borders, sovereignty, jurisdiction of states, and reciprocity. According to him, these principles apply to all communications, including the “Trump Road”.
Currently, technical solutions for TRIPP are being discussed with the American side. Information will be provided after a final decision is made, and an joint Armenian-American company will be responsible for its maintenance.
"What has been published so far has been agreed upon. The rest will be clarified, all parties will be agreed upon, and information will be provided," Mirzoyan stated.
