The text of the agreement document regarding Gaza, signed by the leaders of the USA, Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar, was discussed until the last moment.
According to information from Modern.az, the newspaper “Hürriyet” writes that Ankara insisted on making a number of amendments to the document.
It is reported that on October 13, at 07:00 AM, Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan received information that the document was ready. However, immediately after this, a “crisis over a single word” arose.
At Turkey's request, that word was removed from the document and a more appropriate expression was added instead. It has not been disclosed what word or expression this was.
Let us recall that on October 10, a ceasefire regime came into force between Israel and Hamas. And on October 13, the USA, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, as mediating countries, initialed the final document on the cessation of the conflict in Gaza.
