The p of Eldar Abubekirov, the eldest son of Mustafa Abdülcemil Kırımoğlu, national leader of the Crimean Tatars and member of the Ukrainian Parliament, has been laid to rest.
Modern.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the p of Eldar Abubekirov, who passed away a few days ago, was buried yesterday in the Ihlamurkuyu cemetery in Istanbul.
The ceremony was attended by Ukraine's Ambassador to Ankara, Nariman Celal, Ukraine's Consul General in Istanbul, Roman Nedilsky, and representatives of the diaspora.
During a symbolic farewell ceremony, Mustafa Abdülcemil Kırımoğlu scattered soil brought from Russian-occupied Crimea over his son's grave.
