 
                                French President Emmanuel Macron's approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since he took office.
Modern.az reports, citing "Le Figaro" publication, that according to the results of a survey conducted by "Verian" company, Macron's approval rating dropped from 16 percent to 11 percent last month. According to the survey, currently 84 percent of respondents negatively evaluate the French leader's performance, while the remaining 5 percent find it difficult to answer.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu's approval rating has risen from 20 percent to 26 percent in the last month.
The study also showed that 45 percent of French people want Jordan Bardella, leader of the right-wing nationalist National Rally party, to play an important political role in the coming months and years. Marine Le Pen, head of the party's parliamentary faction, is in second place on this list, with 40 percent of respondents approving of her. Former French Prime Minister and chairman of the center-right "Horizons" Party, Édouard Philippe, came in third with 30 percent of the votes.
The survey was conducted among one thousand adult French citizens on October 26-28.
