US President Donald Trump made a controversial statement on the eve of the New York mayoral elections.
Modern.az reports that he wrote on the social network "Truth Social":
“Any Jew who votes for someone as stubborn and self-proclaimed anti-Jewish as Zohran Mamdani is a fool.”
It should be noted that mayoral elections are currently being held in New York. Along with Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani, former governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa are also competing for the position.
If Mamdani wins, he will be New York's first Muslim mayor.
