Modern.az reports that Reuters agency disseminated this information, citing a government source.
According to the source, Azerbaijan can only consider such an issue after military operations have completely ceased. “We do not want to put our soldiers at risk. This can only be possible after the fighting has completely stopped,” the source stated.
It was noted that the decision to send troops must be approved by parliament.
The information states that within the framework of US President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza, Washington is negotiating with Azerbaijan, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia, and the UAE regarding the creation of an International Stability Force (ISF) of approximately 20,000 personnel.
