In Moscow, Russia's first humanoid artificial intelligence robot, “Aydol,” was presented to the public. However, an unexpected incident occurred during the presentation: after taking a few steps, the robot lost its balance and fell.

According to **Modern.az**, “Aydol” appeared on stage accompanied by two people, to the sounds of "Gonna Fly Now," a song known from the “Rocky” film. Although the robot attempted to wave to the audience, it could not maintain its balance and fell to the ground after 1 minute. The presentation was immediately stopped, and the robot was removed from the stage.

Journalist Dmitry Filonov stated that Aleksey Yuzhakov, head of the National Technological Coalition, had previously warned that the project received very little investment and the robot's walking ability was not sufficiently developed. Vladimir Vitukhin, founder of the “Aydol” company, explained the cause of the incident with lighting: “The stereo cameras used by the robot are very sensitive to light, and there was not enough light in the hall.”

During the second attempt, the robot was brought back onto the stage and this time managed to stay upright with the support of assistants.

It was stated at the presentation that “Aydol” can perform three main human functions: walking, manipulating objects, and communicating with people. All of the robot's systems operate in offline mode, and its autonomous operating time is up to 6 hours.

Currently, it has not been disclosed which artificial intelligence system is used in the project. The manufacturers stated that “Aydol”'s main advantage is its ability for “lively facial expressions and emotional display.” The robot's “face” can display 12 main emotions and “hundreds” of micro-expressions.
