A Declaration on the transition of Russia-Kazakhstan relations to comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance has been signed.
Modern.az reports that the document was signed at the conclusion of talks between Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held in the Kremlin.
He noted that the widespread and free use of the Russian language in Kazakhstan is a source of satisfaction for Russia.
Tokayev, for his part, noted effective cooperation with Rosatom, including the nuclear power plant construction project.
