The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike on the Voronezh region with 4 long-range ATACMS missiles.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that for the first time since January of this year, the Ukrainian army carried out a missile attack on the Voronezh region – yesterday, 4 US-made long-range ATACMS missiles were launched at the region.
The Russian side succeeded in hitting all targets.
As a result of the attack, no one was injured. However, the falling debris of the destroyed missiles damaged the roofs of the Voronezh Regional Gerontology Center, an orphanage, and a private residential building.
Russian military personnel, by conducting reconnaissance, determined that the area from which the missiles were launched was located in the Kharkiv region and launched retaliatory strikes on the launch points.
