Jonathan Askonas, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Department of State, visited Georgia to discuss how the country can support the Trump International Peace and Prosperity Route (TRIPP), which was launched after the peace summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan mediated by the United States.
Modern.az reports that, according to information from the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, the Department of State representative visited the Sadakhlo Border Crossing Point (border with Armenia), whose construction and equipment were largely made possible with U.S. support.
During his visit, he will also meet with representatives of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government administration, and international financial institutions.
