Washington's plan for resolving the Ukraine conflict has been reduced from 28 points to 22.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by US President Donald Trump.
He made this statement to journalists on his plane during his flight to Florida.
Trump emphasized that the previous document was “not a fully formed plan, but merely a scheme and concept.”
He withdrew from the deadline he had set for Ukraine to accept the plan by Thanksgiving. Trump stated that “progress has been made” in the negotiations between the US, Russia, and Ukraine, and Moscow has agreed to certain concessions. The President did not disclose the details of these concessions.
Trump also noted that he believes Russia has gained an advantage on the front at the current stage, and therefore, Ukraine reaching an agreement “would be in the country's best interest.”
According to him, some Ukrainian territories may be seized by Russia in the coming months.
