With improving peace prospects, both Baku and Yerevan are considering forging closer ties with the European Union (EU) as an alternative to Moscow.
Modern.az reports that the publication "Politico" claimed this.
It is noted that the participation of Baku and Yerevan is considered crucial for any serious regional cooperation and could potentially bring additional benefits by directing the EU's relations with Turkey towards a more constructive path.
One EU official jokingly stated, "Perhaps Armenia will be the next Moldova."
