Moscow's relations with Budapest are developing despite all difficulties.
Modern.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this during his meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Moscow.
He emphasized that Russia is aware of Orban's balanced position on the Ukrainian issue.
Putin did not rule out the possibility that talks between Russia and the United States could lead to a summit in Budapest.
The Russian President added that the idea of holding such a summit in Budapest belongs to Trump.
"He said that both you and we have good relations with Hungary. Therefore, Trump proposed Budapest as the meeting place," Putin noted.
Orban, in turn, stated his readiness to provide a platform for talks regarding Ukraine.
