Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal to prepare a new national defense plan, taking into account the course of military operations and updated priorities.

"It is time to change Ukraine's fundamental defense documents, especially our state's defense plan. The course of military operations showed exactly why priorities need to be updated. We agreed that Denys (Shmyhal – ed.) will prepare detailed proposals regarding the changes and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval", - Zelenskyy stated.
The Ukrainian President also stated that the Minister of Defense reported on his missions in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. In addition, the protection of critical infrastructure and the deployment of relevant resources were discussed separately at the meeting.
