The Ukrainian delegation will travel to the US today to discuss the “peace plan”.

According to the information, today the Ukrainian delegation, led by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, will travel to the US to discuss the proposed “peace plan” for ending the war in Ukraine with their American counterparts.
It should be recalled that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated yesterday that Umerov would lead the delegation. This occurred after he dismissed his chief advisor, Andriy Yermak, who was considered the main liaison with Ukraine's Western allies.
According to Politico, Zelenskyy has set a clear task for the negotiating team — to promptly and concretely develop the necessary steps to end the war.
To fulfill this task, Ukrainian officials will meet in Florida with Steve Witkoff, special envoy of US President Donald Trump, and Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law.
In addition to Umerov, the Ukrainian delegation will include Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukrainian intelligence, and Andriy Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The results of the meeting held in Geneva will also be discussed and agreed upon during the talks.
