China's BYD concern is recalling 89 thousand units of the "Qin Plus DM" hybrid model, produced from the beginning of 2021 until the autumn of 2023, from the local market.
Modern.az reports on this, citing the Carnewschina.com website.
It is noted that some of the vehicles may be equipped with incorrectly assembled battery modules. This leads to a limitation of output power, and in extreme modes, the vehicle may completely stop moving in pure electric mode, which creates safety risks.
Dealers will inform the owners of the recalled "Qin Plus DM" vehicles about the necessity of updating the software. All work will be carried out free of charge.
