US and Ukrainian delegations have started the next round of talks in Miami.
Modern.az reports that the meeting is being held at the "Shell Bay" golf club by US President's special envoy Stephen Witkoff.
Before the meeting, Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and head of the delegation, held consultations with the country's president Volodymyr Zelensky, discussing the state of preparation, key positions, and expectations from the next stage.
It should be noted that the White House plans to overcome existing disagreements with Kyiv today on two key issues related to the "peace plan" - territorial conditions and security guarantees. Western media reports that these topics will be on the main agenda of the meeting.
According to information, the US and Ukrainian sides are working on the final version of the "peace plan" proposed by Washington. The document has been modified after several days of discussions and brought into a form acceptable to Kyiv.
It is expected that US President's special envoy Stephen Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will present this document to Russian President Vladimir Putin next week.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced today that Stephen Witkoff will arrive in Moscow before Putin's visit to India on December 4–5.
