Nikol Pashinyan stated the importance of ceasing discussions about Armenia's former authorities.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan expressed this opinion while answering a question from Narek Babayan, a deputy of the “Civil Contract” faction, during government hour in parliament.
“In fact, I believe that discussions about former authorities should cease, because there is nothing left to talk about. What haven't we said yet? The package we published regarding the Karabakh issue shows that there is generally nothing to talk about,” – he noted.
According to Pashinyan, however, the authorities are subjected to constant provocations.
“We come and talk for hours: Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan… If there had been elections in 2021, it would have been the parliamentary opposition that would have come forward with an agenda for a change of power, and in a certain sense, they could still be considered political rivals. In my opinion, they are no longer rivals, they haven't been rivals for a long time,” – Pashinyan added.
