A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China.
Modern.az reports that, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake's epicenter was located 141 kilometers northwest of Tumshuk county, home to 135,000 people, and its focus was at a depth of 7 kilometers.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
