"Roskomnadzor" (Russia's Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media) has restricted the operation of the "FaceTime" service.
Modern.az reports that TASS disseminated information about this, citing the agency's Press Service.
This step is explained by the use of the aforementioned service for the purpose of organizing and carrying out terrorist activities.
"According to law enforcement agencies, the "FaceTime" service is used for organizing and carrying out terrorist activities against our citizens within the country, as well as for fraud and other crimes. For this reason, "Roskomnadzor" is imposing restrictions related to "FaceTime"," the statement said.
