"The restoration of the USSR is impossible, Russia has no such goal".
Modern.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in an interview with "India Today" TV channel, when answering a question about whether he strives to restore the USSR.
"No, of course not. It's impossible. It's simply meaningless. There is also a question of a rational approach here. Under current conditions, it makes no sense, because it would drastically change the national and religious composition of the Russian Federation," he said.
