Israel's participation in “Eurovision 2026” was confirmed

The European Broadcasting Union has decided to allow Israel to participate in the “Eurovision” song contest in 2026.

 

Modern.az reports that this decision was adopted after a vote held at the general meeting on December 4, 2025.

 

This decision was not unequivocally welcomed by several countries, including Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Slovenia.

 

The aforementioned countries have announced that they will withdraw from the “Eurovision” song contest to be held in 2026 if Israel participates.
