Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited Great Britain.
Modern.az reports this, citing "Sky News".
Today, the Ukrainian leader is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Macron is expected to arrive at Downing Street at 12:30 local time, after which the first meeting of the EU3 leaders will begin. The leaders will then make brief statements before the main talks. Zelenskyy will then hold a bilateral meeting with Starmer and participate in a joint phone call with the leaders of Finland, Italy, NATO, and the EU.
After London, Zelenskyy will travel to Belgium, where he will hold talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Zelenskyy's meeting with the leadership of the EU, the European Commission, and NATO will be held without press.
NATO's press service has confirmed that the meeting between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, EU President Antonio Costa, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will be held behind closed doors.
Zelenskyy previously told "Bloomberg" that the parties have not yet reached an agreement on the Donbas issue. The territorial issue, as well as security guarantees for Ukraine, remain among the most sensitive topics for future discussions.
US President Donald Trump stated that he was “disappointed” with the outcome of these talks. He claimed that Zelenskyy “had not properly studied” the US proposal.
