In the city of Fes, Morocco, at least 22 people have died and 16 people have been injured as a result of the collapse of two buildings.
Modern.az reports that foreign media outlets have reported this.
It is noted that cracks had been visible in the buildings for some time, and no effective preventive measures were apparent.
This incident has been one of the most serious incidents to occur in Morocco since a similar event in 2010 in Meknes, a historic city, where 41 people lost their lives.
