US House of Representatives member Anna Paulina Luna has introduced a bill aimed at completely repealing the 907th amendment.

It should be noted that this amendment restricts the US from providing military and financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
It should be recalled that in August of this year, an order was signed by the US President regarding the temporary suspension of the application of the 907th amendment to the “Freedom Support Act”. This amendment, adopted in 1992, prohibits the provision of US state aid to Azerbaijan.
Official Baku has stated its hope that, taking into account the prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the US, and Azerbaijan's growing role in the wider region, the US side will take practical steps towards the complete repeal of this amendment.
