Losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have exceeded 1 million.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this while speaking at a round table held at the ambassadorial level on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
He said that during the negotiations, the bodies of more than 11,000 Ukrainian servicemen were handed over to Ukraine, while Russia received the bodies of 201 Russian soldiers.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the conflict exceeded 1 million. He also recalled that the Istanbul talks between Russia and Ukraine resulted in the exchange of 2,500 soldiers from both sides.
Furthermore, Lavrov emphasized that the recent meeting between Putin and Uitkov helped resolve all misunderstandings between Russia and the United States that arose after the Alaska summit.
