The Japanese government intends to send civilian specialists to work in a coordination center established at the initiative of the United States to monitor the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Modern.az reports that the "Asahi" newspaper has published information regarding this.
According to the publication's sources in the Japanese government, participation in the center's work is expected only in the humanitarian field. It is also noted that the Japanese team will include regional specialists working in international humanitarian organizations and NGOs and specializing particularly in infrastructure restoration.
After the ceasefire, a civil-military coordination center was established in southern Israel near the Gaza border. The center will collect real-time information on the situation in Gaza from various sources, including intelligence drones and international organizations. It has been reported that representatives from over 40 countries and organizations will participate in the US-led center.
