Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son Bilal Erdoğan spoke at a meeting held with Erzincan businessmen in Istanbul and called on the participants to unite around the president.
According to Modern.az, he stated that Turkey has the potential to become one of the world's five largest economies, and the main condition for this is unity and solidarity.
According to Bilal Erdoğan, Turkey possesses great energy and opportunities, but for this potential to be fully realized, it is necessary to think more broadly and rally around common goals. He emphasized that his father represents Turkey in the international arena, noting the importance of not allowing negative discourse about the president.
“What is wrong with standing behind the president who represents the country in the world? What do we lose? It is necessary to unite around a leader who has done so much for this country, brought Turkey to a new stage, and gained respect in the world,” Bilal Erdoğan stated.
He added that the value of President Erdoğan's work will undoubtedly be recognized sooner or later, but it would be better if this happened sooner. According to Bilal Erdoğan, if support had been stronger over the past 23 years, Turkey could be even more powerful today. He stated that internal conflicts and “traitors” have caused the president's energy to be wasted, which has weakened the country's positions.
