The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that it had thwarted a terror plot planned for New Year's Eve in Los Angeles.
According to Modern.az, four people have been arrested in connection with this. They presented themselves as pro-Palestinian and a radical branch of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF).
According to the FBI, they planned coordinated bomb attacks in five separate locations in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve using improvised explosive devices. According to the statement, a fifth person, believed to be associated with the same TILF extremist group, was arrested in New Orleans on suspicion of planning another attack.
