Russian President Vladimir Putin's official visit to Turkey is expected.
Modern.az reports that “RIA Novosti” disseminated information about this, citing a Turkish diplomatic source.
“The invitation to the Russian leader was announced at the highest level. We are eagerly awaiting this visit and hope that it will take place next year,” the agency's source stated.
Although it was stated that the visit would take place next year, the exact date has not been announced.
It should be noted that on December 12, Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov announced that Vladimir Putin had received an invitation to visit Turkey.
