As part of the security guarantees proposed by the US, the possibility of American troops being in Ukraine is being discussed.
Modern.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he discussed this issue with his counterpart Donald Trump.
“Of course, we are discussing this with President Trump and representatives of the [decisive] coalition; we would like that. This would be a strong position in terms of security guarantees,” he said.
During an online conversation with journalists, Zelensky stated that Kyiv is committed to continuing negotiations to end the war and added that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in any format.
