US President Donald Trump called Somalia “one of the worst and most corrupt countries” in the world and demanded that Somalis be sent back to their country.
Modern.az reports that Trump shared these views on his "Truth Social" social network.
The US President claimed that “the vast majority, approximately 90 percent,” of fraud cases occurring in Minnesota are committed by individuals who have illegally entered the US from Somalia. Trump wrote that these individuals “should be sent back to Somalia, from wherever they came” and characterized this country as “perhaps the most corrupt state on Earth.”
It should be recalled that during his first presidency, Donald Trump banned citizens from several countries, including Somalia, from entering US territory. Subsequently, this decision was revoked by former President Joe Biden. As Trump began his second presidential term, he reinstated that ban and added citizens of several other countries to the list.
