Modern.az reports that the images were taken during the opening ceremony of a hafiz school in the village of Novy Sharoy, Achkhoy-Martan district. The footage shows Kadyrov holding a wooden staff, but it does not indicate whether he is limping.
Rumors about Kadyrov's hospitalization had previously spread on social media. Akhmed Dudayev, the Minister for Regional National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information, dismissed these rumors as false and shared a video of the Chechen leader.
