US President Donald Trump said he does not believe the claim that Ukraine attacked Russian leader Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod region.
According to Modern.az, Trump stated this during a press conference.
Otherwise, if he had directly organized the attack on Putin's residence, he would have had to demonstrate great anger towards Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"I do not believe this attack occurred," the White House chief replied to journalists' questions.
Journalists later noted that Putin had told him about the attack on the residence. Therefore, the media clarified why Trump believed Putin and why he immediately stated this publicly during his joint appearance with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The President responded as follows:
"Because at that time, no one knew. That is, I heard about it for the first time... He said his house was attacked. Now that we can confirm this, we do not believe such an incident occurred. But when we first heard about it, we thought differently," Trump stated.
