In Turkey, in the last 20 days, 223 people have been detained as suspects in operations carried out by law enforcement agencies against the FETÖ terrorist group.
Modern.az reports that Turkey's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, shared information regarding this on his official “X” page.
“Operating within FETÖ's “secret structures”, using FETÖ's encrypted communication program "ByLock", maintaining contact with individuals within the organization via payphones, and providing financial support through small business owners affiliated with the organization, 223 suspects have been detained,” the minister stated.
Pre-trial detention measures have been chosen for 87 of the detained individuals, and 50 people have been released after signing a written undertaking not to leave the country.
