Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran's last Shah, residing in the United States, has appealed to the Iranian armed and security forces.
Modern.az reports that Reza Pahlavi disseminated his appeal via social networks.
“You, who wear military uniforms to defend the Iranian people, are now faced with a historic choice. In these days when the brave people of Iran are making history, my question to you is: on which side of history will you stand? With the criminals, or with the people?” Reza Pahlavi stated in his appeal to the employees of Iranian law enforcement agencies.
According to him, the collapse of Iran's corrupt regime is now closer than ever.
“In these decisive moments, I expect you to use your weapons not to fire upon people, but to protect them.
By doing so, you will not only fulfill your national duty but also protect your own future and the future of your families,” Reza Pahlavi emphasized.
He stated that for those working in Iran's law enforcement agencies and security forces, it is the last chance to join the nation and abandon the sinking ship:
“Be assured that those who oppress the people and fire upon them will be identified and punished. Those who stand with the Iranian people will be met with respect and reverence by the people.”
