Protests continue in a number of Iranian cities. Social networks and local Telegram channels are disseminating information about clashes, fires, and gunfire. However, these reports have not been confirmed by official Iranian bodies.

According to Modern.az, in Tehran, protesters have set fire to motorcycles belonging to security forces. In some districts of the capital, buildings belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have been set ablaze.

Furthermore, it is reported that a local telephone exchange was set on fire by protesters in Isfahan. Against the backdrop of these events, telephone communication has been suspended nationwide.

Meanwhile, statements have also been made by US officials. US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that Washington supports people participating in peaceful protests and defending freedom of expression.

According to him, the US believes that the Iranian authorities should begin real negotiations with Washington regarding the nuclear program. Vance noted that the US's next steps will be determined by the country's president, and this support applies to those advocating for human rights worldwide, including the people of Iran.

Donald Trump stated that if the Iranian authorities resort to deadly violence against protesters, the US will deliver a “severe blow”. According to him, the US administration is closely monitoring the situation in the country.

Commenting on reports of dozens of deaths during the protests, Trump noted that some deaths might have resulted not from intentional use of force, but from overcrowding that occurred during crowd management.
