US President Donald Trump addressed the protesters in Iran.
Modern.az reports that Trump said in an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt:
"The only thing I can say is that you must stand firm in your belief in freedom. There is nothing better than freedom. You are brave people. It is very regrettable that these events are happening in your country. Your country was a great country."
Trump also recalled that years ago, when he was a young builder, his friends went to Iran and built buildings there, and that these buildings still stand today.
