According to the publication, the discussions have been preliminary and have not progressed to a concrete decision stage. Among the ideas discussed was the option of a large-scale air operation against several Iranian military facilities. However, the newspaper's sources stated that a common position regarding the expediency of this step has not been formed within the Trump administration, and no agreement has been reached.
According to sources, there is no immediate threat of military attack for Iran at the current stage. The US's concrete course of action regarding Iran has not yet been agreed upon, and military equipment and personnel have not been deployed to the region in preparation for a possible strike.
It should be recalled that previously, when answering journalists' questions, the President of the United States had not ruled out that Washington could deliver a “strong blow” against the Iranian leadership in the event of possible deaths among Iranian protesters.
