The US Armed Forces have begun striking ISIS positions in Syria.

Modern.az reports that "Fox News" television channel disseminated information about this, citing sources.

According to the television channel, the strikes carried out are in response to the killing of two US servicemen and a translator in December.

Sources have assessed these attacks as a “retaliatory strike.”

The information notes that the operations targeted ISIS positions in Syria. The United States and Syrian officials have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incidents.
