A doctor operating in Neyshabur, Iran, sent an audio message to CNN.
Modern.az reports that the doctor stated Iranian security forces opened fire on at least 30 people yesterday.
He noted that there were children among those shot:
"A 5-year-old child was shot while in his mother's arms." The doctor said that there were many injured as a result of the clashes: "Hospitals are extremely chaotic, and patients are afraid of being admitted and identified. For this reason, we are trying to inform people and provide private treatment in clinics."
